*A Cosy Night In With Sanctuary Bathrooms

I don’t know about you but as Winter draws in, I start to hibernate. I swap time spent outside for a cosy night in and enjoy the excuse to pamper myself with some me time-which is very good for my mental health. When Sanctuary Bathrooms asked if they could send me some goodies to help my next cosy night in I was intrigued, and when my box arrived I wasn’t disappointed. Included was a gorgeous bath tray, a candle, a bath bomb, chocolate and some other bath products.

For me, a cosy night in is an excuse to really pamper myself. I’ll dye my hair if if needs it, pop on a clay mask, use a facial peel and pluck my eyebrows. I’ll also paint my nails, use hand cream and foot cream, and if I’m feeling really decadent I’ll use a body butter. A cosy night in always involves some good but relaxing music, then something from Netflix-whether that’s a series I’m loving or an old favourite film. Sometimes I’ll have a fancy hot chocolate and a big bowl of my favourite crisps, other times I’ll have a takeaway and a gin or two.

The very best cosy nights in are those you spend with friends-though I’ve not had one of those in a while. My best friends and I used to enjoy having a takeaway, face masks, doing our nails and playing games whilst having one too many cocktails. I think that sort of cosy night in needs to be making a comeback, when I finally buy my house early next year I’ll be getting the girls round for sure.

What does a cosy night in look like in your house?

*This is a collaborative post with Sanctuary Bathrooms, who sent me some goodies to help my cosy night in. All thoughts, words and opinions are my own, although the fabulous bath tray is all them.
