A couple of weekends ago I was lucky enough to be invited, alongside some lovely Leeds Bloggers, to an event hosted by M & Co. To celebrate the release of their 1920s Flapper style dresses (so beautiful!) they decided to teach us to dance….the Charleston!
I love these dresses and I’d totally wear one for New Year if I wasn’t so skint.
I arrived late (what else is new!?) to the venue-in my defence, I HAD set off in plenty of time, but my Sat Nav would not find the dance mill. Sorry everyone! Sadly, because I was late, I didn’t have time to try on a gorgeous dress-boo. Some of the other girls did though- here’s Kariss and Lizi rocking the dresses. Beautiful!
The lovely lady who taught us to dance (I’ve forgotten her name! I’m so bad with names) had a pretty hard job with me-I am no dancer-but by the end she had the whole group doing a half decent Charleston routine! So much fun.
Have you danced the Charleston before? What do you think of the dresses?
