*Apps I Couldn’t Do Without

As a blogger, I couldn’t live without my phone. Not because I use it to call and text, as I generally don’t-but because the apps on there allow me to run not just my blog but my life. So when Ask Bongo reached out to ask if I fancied telling you guys about the apps I couldn’t do without, I thought it would be quite a list. I wasn’t wrong.

Financial apps

I have my bank’s app, my Paypal and Circle apps, as well as some from different survey sites (such as Swagbucks, Qmee and Vypr) which I use on a daily basis. It’s so handy to be able to move money into my savings account (next month’s wage always goes into a seperate account, to be paid to me on the 1st of the month like my full time job’s wage was in the past) and I tend to do this as soon as a brand or agency pays me-wherever I am at the time. Banking in the Tesco queue? Yep, why not!

Social media

Obviously I’ve got Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram on my phone and they’re used numerous times a day. I also have Pinterest-which, though rarely used, I’m trying to get better with-YouTube, and a couple of others.

Editing apps

I have lightroom, darkroom, VSCO cam, and a couple of other editing apps. I don’t actually use them that much these days, but they’re good to have for those shots you just HAVE to put straight onto Insta. I have Huji, which makes your photos look like they were taken on a 1980s disposable camera-an effect I’m loving right now.

Travel apps

I have all sorts, from the different airline apps to apps that tell you how to get from A to B. They’re all so useful when I’m away from home, though.

Which do you think are apps I couldn’t do without?

I am constantly attached to my phone so mine would have to be the usual social media; Facebook, Twitter, Insta & Snapchat. I always have my WordPress app and my photo editing apps and I could not live without the Netflix app! I always have a backlog of downloaded shows to watch without needing data!❤️

I do love my social media apps especially Facebook and Instagram. I have not thought of a financial app but I think I will have a look into that. xx

I love my Starbucks app 🙂 Amazon app is also frequently used as we do groceries through them. I’m also a huge fan of Evernote and Lifecake. In fact, for those with kids, Lifecake is a must have. It’s like a digital album and private Instagram in one.

I do use my ebay app quite a lot but also the airlines apps. I travel a lot and it’s useful to have all your boarding passes stored in one place, as I never have access to a printer when I’m on the road.

I’ve never used the editing apps you talked about. I’ve always just used the insta filters or edited them using the software of my phone (says a lot about my insta feed – oops!).
My banking app is invaluable as are my social media apps (adore insta and spend so long looking at people’s pbotos).
Also use my email app a lot, along with… candy crush…

The usual social media apps but I absolutely love my picture editing one.
I use it mainly to keep my Instagram on track, I use portrait one day & landscape the next.

Otherwise I don’t have too many apps because they drain my battery because I usually choose games to download haha!

I’m trying to use my phone less these days – but I have to admit that I’m a sucker for Instagram when I have a spare five minutes! I also love the VSCO app as I love messing around with photos and looking at the different effects.
