Benito Brow Bar Leeds Relaunch

Last night I was lucky enough to attend not one but THREE events-clearly they’re like buses, I have non for ages and then three invitations for the same night. Luckily the timings worked out, and so I headed to Benito Brow Bar Leeds for their relaunch event.

We were welcomed with Benito Cupcakes and a glass of Fizz and told a little bit about Benito. Two ladies were doing free threading and we were encouraged to watch them work, so that we could see the process. It’s fascinating how they manage to shape the brows so well with just a piece of thread!

I was asked if I wanted my brows threading, they really needed it so of course I said yes. The lady worked very quickly and it was relatively painless (no more pain than waxing, certainly, and the best threading experience I’ve had) and I am so pleased with how my brows look now. I was given a hand massage too which was really nice. My friend Claire came with my as my plus one which worked out well, as she was able to take photos for me (thanks Claire!) Benito do threading for a few different areas and some of their locations do HD brows too. They do tinting services and I think some other things as well. Check their website out!

Once I’d had my brows done I was able to chat to the other bloggers and the lovely Benito staff. Nails Inc, the concession next to Benito, had an offer on for us on the night too-though I didn’t take advantage of this due to funds. I could have had a patch test to come back the following day for my brows to be tinted but Leeds is slightly out of the way for me, and so I had to decline. It’s a shame, as I’m sure my brows would look AMAZING if I’d had them tinted too. I got given a voucher for another free threading session and even though Leeds is a trek for me (it’d be cheaper for me to pay for threading nearer home than to drive to Leeds for their freebie) I will DEFINITELY be going back. That tells you something about how good they are.

I had a brilliant time at Benito and to top it off I was given a lovely goodybag as I left. I feel so spoilt!

I’ve never had my brows done but I used to work in a Debenhams with a Benito concession and they always looked like they did a fab job! 🙂

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:51 pm

I was impressed with how they did everyone’s.

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:51 pm

  2. May 22, 2016 / 10:26 am

Ive never had my eyesbrows done, or nails or anything like that. Im one of those don’t touch me sort of people lol Sounds like you enjoyed it though 🙂

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:51 pm

I do everything myself but my brows-I am just so rubbish at it.

  3. May 22, 2016 / 11:09 am

I’ve never had my brows threaded but I’m definitely going to try it. Glad you had a great night and 3 events in one night? You must have been exhausted afterwards, haha!

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:51 pm

Oh yes, shattered! Good job I was off work on Friday.

  4. May 22, 2016 / 1:27 pm

Threading fascinates me. I just think it is amazing what they can do with a piece of thread, I love having my eyebrows done and it always makes me feel a hundred times better. Mine desperately need doing x

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:50 pm

Mine really needed it, I feel much better now.

  5. May 22, 2016 / 1:47 pm

I’ve had my brows threaded once, but I have such fair eyebrows I felt bad about making it so difficult. Maybe I need to have a tint first!

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:50 pm

Oh I’m sure they didn’t find it difficult 🙂

This looks great! I don’t tend to get my brows threaded, always a wax and tint! But after reading this I could be persuaded to change!

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:50 pm

Threading tends to give a better shape. I really should get mine tinted.

  7. May 22, 2016 / 3:40 pm

I’ve always wanted to have my eyebrows threaded but I’ve never had the guts to give it a go. Doesn’t sound too painful though?

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:49 pm

It’s not bad at all. Some people take a paracetamol an hour before which helps.

  8. May 22, 2016 / 3:43 pm

I love having my brows done and they are definitely overdue – thanks for the reminder!

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:49 pm

      You’re welcome! 🙂

I’ve heard so many great things about the Benito Brow Bar. I always get my eyebrows threaded, I think it gives them a much better shape.

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:49 pm

I agree, mine look far better threaded than waxed.

  10. May 22, 2016 / 5:24 pm

I’ve tried to thread my own eyebrows but need to practise that a bit more.

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:48 pm

I don’t think I’d dare attempt to thread my own, well done you!

Oooh that looks like a great goody bag 🙂 I usually get my eyebrows threaded, it looks better than waxing but I’m well overdue at the moment.

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:48 pm

Yeah it’s a brilliant one, I’m very spoilt!

  12. May 22, 2016 / 7:59 pm

Yes I get my eyebrows and lips done every 2-3 weeks because my hair grows so quickly. I just semi-permanent eyebrows recently!

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:48 pm

Oooh how did you find the semi permanent eyebrow experience? I am very tempted!

  13. May 22, 2016 / 8:00 pm

I’ve never been there but wouldn’t mind going there if I went to visit Leeds one day. I get my eyebrows threaded but the last ones I went too REALLY hurt!

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:47 pm

I won’t lie, it’s not pain free, but I think it’s far better than waxing.

  14. May 22, 2016 / 9:19 pm

I could watch those ladies that do threading for hours, it’s amazing how they can be so precise with a piece of cotton.

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:47 pm

      It’s so cool isn’t it.

I usually get my eyebrows HD’d now but have tried threading in the past. I love watching them work, it’s so fascinating how they do it with just a piece of thread! It sounds like it was a great event and I love the goodie bag. I think I saw you at the second event you went to, you all must have been shattered after them all. Helen x

    • May 22, 2016 / 9:47 pm

Luckily, event number three was a tasting menu so me and me plus one got to sit down and relax! I really needed it by then!

I hadn’t heard of this brow bar before – will have to check it out! I have never had my eye brows done by anyone other than me so I am a bit scared haha x

  17. May 23, 2016 / 4:56 pm

I haven’t allowed anyone to touch my brows for a good few years now after they were butchered, it terrifies me x

  18. May 23, 2016 / 5:38 pm

I have a relatively low pain threshold so threading and I are not friends lol but no I have not tried this bento bar before

  19. May 24, 2016 / 6:11 pm

I have never had my brows threaded although I am a brow obsessive! I’ve never been to a Benito Brow Bar either so I am going to see if there is one close to me and if not I shall pop into the Leeds one the next time I am visiting my friends who live there xx

  20. May 27, 2016 / 8:33 am

I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time a few months ago and it didn’t hurt as much as I expected it, more of a sting!
