*London Places I’d Love To Visit

I’n a couple of weeks, just after I get back from Amsterdam, I’m heading to London for the day. It’s got me thinking about which London landmarks I’d love to visit, and I thought I’d do a wishlist style post for you about my plans for my day. Then I was asked to write about the same topic, which is a brilliant coincidence (that NEVER happens, does it? Yay!)

I’m just going down for the day because I’m driving a friend down so he can have a day drinking with some friends. Then I’m driving us both home again-which could be fun, considering it’s a four hour drive without breaks. I’ll clearly be having a couple of breaks for coffee!

Other than the obvious (Oxford Street, naturally) I haven’t made concrete plans for the day, but my list of options includes:

The London Eye

I can imagine the photos I’d get from up there would be amazing, and I can get cheaper tickets from Discount London too. I really want to do this to get those gorgeous shots for my Instagram page.

Covent Garden to people watch

I used to work for a Union (Community, if you’ve heard of them) and their head office was in Covent Garden. The one time I was down there I didn’t have enough time to do much people watching and I’d love to just hang around for a while and see what people are up to. I’ll probably also pop into MAC because, well, Laura loves a MAC lippy or 5.

Somewhere nice to meet London Blogger friends for lunch

I feel like this is a given. I just hope my favourite London girls are free!

The Diana Memorial Park

I’ve always wanted to do this, despite not being a fan of the Royal Family I always admired Diana and it would be cool to go and see the park in her honour.

Camden to street art hunt

Luckily a couple of weeks after writing this post I AM going to London, specifically to hang out in Camden with my camera, so at least I can tick one of these off. (Edit-I have now been to Camden and the houses in the photo below were one of many finds from the day)

What would you do with a day in London?

I’d love to take my kids to see the sights of London. Sadly it is so far from us as we live in the North of the UK. I wonder if it’s scary on the London Eye if you’re scared of heights….I know my daughter would love to do that but I don’t know if I’d be brave enough!
