My Makeup Revolution Lip Geek Lipstick Collection

I’ve recently blogged about my Freedom Makeup haul and my MAC lipstick collection. I’ve previously talked about my Sleek Lip Product Collection too. These sort of posts go down well with my readers and I enjoy writing them, so I thought I’d write about another of my favourite products-Makeup Revolution’s Lip Geek Lipsticks.

Makeup Revolution are a fairly new, very popular brand, with products that are very reasonably priced but also great quality. I really rate their eyeshadows, but today’s post is focussing on their Lip Geek Lipsticks. These aren’t the only Lipsticks Makeup Revolution do, they do another range that I’ve blogged about, at £1 each. The Lip Geek Lipsticks are £1.99 each-a total bargain. I have 8 of these, and no doubt will buy more in the future. So, which shades do I have?

I Worked For It!

This is a dark, browny red colour. As you can tell by the bullet I’ve not yet worn it, as it’s more of a wintery colour in my opinion. It’s gorgeous, though.

Barbie Is Jealous

This is a gorgeous, almost raspberry, pink (and I love the name!) Again it’s not yet worn, but I will be trying it out this summer for sure.

Happy Girl

This is a paler pink, a medium pink. I’ve worn this a few times and I really like it on me.

Lips That Won’t Lie

This is a lovely pinky nude.

Never Be A Millionaire

Another nude, this one is browner, I adore this one.

Candy Rock

Anyone who knows their lipsticks will know this is a total dupe for MAC’s Candy Yum Yum. Great for drunken nights out when I don’t want to risk dropping my MAC!

Dream About Success

This is a beautiful pale peach and I’m not sure it will suit me, but for the price I just had to grab one to see. I haven’t tried it yet, must sort that out!

Totally NOT Boring!

A dark burgundy with a cream sheen. I haven’t tried this either, it’s a autumn/winter sort of colour.

And the swatches, from left to right: I Worked For It, Barbie Is Jealous, Happy Girl, Lips That Won’t Lie, Never Be A Millionaire, Candy Rock, Dream About Success, and Totally NOT Boring!

Do you have any of these lipsticks? What do you think of them?

The packaging reminds me a lot of MAC lipsticks x

What a great price for lipsticks, and loving the names. Im not really a lipstick fan. When I get dressed up I always pop it on then wipe it off before leaving the house. Maybe I just need more confidence.
