Last week I was contacted by Prestige Flowers asking me if I’d like to review one of their bouquets. Of course I said yes, who says no to free flowers? I was told I’d be sent their Tikal Bouquet and after looking at photos on their website I was really excited to receive my flowers. And when Royal Mail delivered my box (yes, they come in a box!) I was not disappointed. This post is my Prestige Flowers Review, so you can see what I thought.
I was lucky enough to be sent a vase, too-which is an optional extra you can choose to add for £5.99. You could also add a box of chocolates or a teddy for a small fee. I think it’s really good that you have the option to personalise your gift. I’m glad I was sent a vase because these flowers wouldn’t have fit in the small vase I own!
At £34.99 for a small bouquet, going up to £44.99 for a large, (I’m not sure what size bouquet I was sent) these are not cheap as flowers go, but I do think that for a mix of quite exotic flowers, it’s worth the price tag. I don’t really know flowers, apart from the standard ones, but from a quick look at the website I now know the bouquet contains ‘mango orange callas and roses with complementary blooms, thistles and aspidistra’ I think the colours work really well together, making the flowers nice and bright and something I got lots of compliments on from everyone who visited.
After spending ages taking photos of these in the garden, I popped them into the vase and brought them inside. And then I put them in my lounge, away from the window-which I think was a mistake. Sadly, after about a week, these flowers were starting to die, and I threw them out after a week and a half. I have had longer lasting flowers before, but in my last house I kept them on the kitchen windowsill so that’s most probably why. I don’t think a week is BAD, I just wish I’d had the beautiful flowers for longer.
I’d definitely consider buying from Prestige Flowers again, probably not for myself (as it’s easy enough for me to just pop to the florist and choose some-I like to physically look at things before I buy ideally) but for friends across the country, they’ll definitely be getting Prestige Flowers deliveries from me.
Thank you so much for the flowers, Prestige Flowers!
