September Glossybox

Today my September Glossybox arrived. Exciting! It’s a limited edition box designed by Karen Millen, and it’s lovely.

Inside the box is a pretty green paper and ribbon, and the usual card describing the products:

I’m quite impressed with this month’s box. I have three full size products, one decent sized sample (45ml, full size is 125ml) and a pack of samples of very expensive products.

The box contains:

ModelCo MORE BROWS Fibre Gel in Light/Medium. This is a FULL SIZE PRODUCT £14.95 for 3.5ml

The info card says ‘this innovative brush-on fibre gel gives the appearance of fuller, thicker brows instantly’

I’m looking forward to reviewing this product, my brows do need filling in a lot and don’t always look natural with a brow pencil so this could be the answer to my prayers.

L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil 45ml, £15.95 for 125ml

‘This lightweight oil cares for and pampers all hair types. The formula leaves your hair looking shiny while feeling nourished and supple.’

I have very dry ends so this will hopefully solve that problem. It smells beautiful and doesn’t leave my hair sticky.

Nails inc Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat FULL SIZE PRODUCT £12 for 10ml

Whilst I mainly wear gel polish these days, I have kept a few polishes that I love, and this will add to the collection, I have always rated Nails inc topcoats and hope this one won’t disappoint. I’m a sucker for a matte polish too so I’m chuffed with this.

Nivea 3in1 Micellar Cleansing Water FULL SIZE PRODUCT £4.07 for 200ml

‘Nivea Micellar Cleansing Water cleanses deeply, removes make-up and moisturises in one step. It also helps protect against the three main signs of sensitive skin: redness, tightness and dryness.’

Apparently you rub this into your skin with cotton wool, and there’s no need to rinse it off. I’m terrible for coming in after a night out and only half removing my makeup, because face wipes take forever and I can’t be bothered. My skin suffers for it the next day and is so dry and horrible. This clever time saving cleansing water should help to stop that and if it’s decent, it’s definitely a product I’ll buy. Happy to see this in my Glossybox.

SkinPep Enzyme and Acid Peel, and SkinPep Peeling Gel 2 3.5ml samples of the peel, £3.05 for 3.5ml, £89.99 for 180ml. 1 sample of the eye cream, 2ml, £6.49 for 2ml, £44.99 for 15ml

‘This highly effective peeling gel uses Pineapple and Papaya extracts to create gently exfoliated, soft and bright skin’

‘This powerful dark circle eraser uses anti-oxidant ingredients to boost collagen in the delicate under eye area’

Both of these products sound great, but let’s face is there is NO BLOODY WAY I will be buying them, however amazing they are. I have far better things to spend £135 on!

Glossybox gave us a sneak preview at next month’s box too. My next box is free as I will have collected 100 Glossydots, it will be an Andy Warhol inspired Pop Art box which I’m hoping means bright lipstick! We shall see! I know that this product will be included.

This Glossybox also contained a voucher for £25 off when you spend £150 at Karen Millen. Sadly, that is also not going to happen.

Did you get a Glossybox this month? What did yours contain and what do you think?
