Spending hours on twitter chatting away to some amazing, amazing girls has really made me smile tonight. It’s also inspired me to write this post (which no doubt will be posted Thursday morning so yeah, for tonight read last night) I wanted to let you all a little more into my world, tell you more about me and hopefully you’ll want to comment to tell me more about you, too. You may even be inspired to do a similar post-or already have done. Please, leave me the link if so-I would LOVE to read it.
Ok, things I’m loving, currently-in the middle of April, 2015.
Nope, I’m not AT school-I’m 28. Nor am I a teacher (no thanks! I know some great ones, who love their job-but it is NOT for me) I’m currently temping as a Receptionist in a school. I’m really enjoying it, it’s varied, the staff are lovely, the children are lovely (and funny, oh so funny) and it’s a great job to do until I find another Trade Union role. However-it’s also long days, lots of rushing about, and I think most of us breathe a sigh of relief when the holidays arrive. It’s great to have two weeks off to recharge my batteries, spend time with my family, friends, on my blog and, mainly, on twitter 24/7. I do miss twitter when I’m at work.
I’ve only recently become really active on my blog account, @Insdelaurashead (note the lack of a second I in Inside-stupid character limit
I can spell really) I have a personal account which I do use, however I tended to use it more for work and political activity-now that I’m not doing the Trade Union role for the moment, I don’t use it as much. My blog account, however, is growing nicely. I’m meeting more and more lovely ladies who I’m chatting to, it’s so much fun to get to know them and to have a giggle (and to see the drama, oh the drama!) You’re very welcome to come follow me on twitter and if you do, please say hi and let me know you found me from this post!
Cheesy Cheese Pringles
These are new and THESE ARE MY LIFE. Such a strong taste, really cheesy and just yum. Pringles are so light too that I can easily finish a tube in a day-which is not good really. I am limiting myself to a tube a week and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
Easter, I love you. You brought me light up bunny rabbits for £1 in Primark, you bring me White Chocolate Mini Eggs, and you usually bring the start of warmer weather too. What’s not to love? (Actually, what’s not to love is that I’ve EATEN all my White Chocolate Mini Eggs. Damn!)
My home Shellac kit
I go through phases with my nails. Sometimes they are naked for months, and I bite them and get cross with myself. Then sometimes I actually paint them, and for about a day they are perfect. This time last year I bought my Shellac kit, although I didn’t get the hang of it-the polish peeled off within 3 days and I gave up. Recently, however, I’ve taught myself to do it right-and now I am loving doing my nails. I give them a day or so break once in a while but they are generally Shellac’d (as are my Mum’s, my Gran’s, my best friend’s….)
My new favourite work outfit
Black and white stripy pencil skirt, I love you. Add leopard print loafers, I love you more. Add a black vest top, a statement necklace and a neon pink cardigan? AH-MAY-ZING
I’ve had SO MUCH FUN writing this post. I hope you have as much fun reading it. What are you loving at the moment?
