*Why I’d Definitely Do Another All Inclusive Holiday

As a travel blogger, you guys have probably seen how much I love heading off somewhere new, spending three or four nights in a location, choosing somewhere to eat at mealtimes and talking about what I ate where on the blog. That will ALWAYS be my preferred type of trip, on as much of a budget as possible. But-I wouldn’t say no to another all inclusive holiday either, and there are plenty of options, like these all inclusive holidays from Holiday Gems, to choose from.

I’ve been on two all inclusive holidays as an adult. One was a week in Turkey, with my two best friends, at the end of the season. We spent a week by the pool during the day, with a couple of trips (quad biking and horse riding, as well as a few general walks around the resort) and the night drinking with the bar staff, playing UNO and then going out dancing at around midnight. Because of the all inclusive bar, we were able to go out every night without spending too much, and eat most of our meals at the hotel-choosing to go out three or four times for lunch or tea without having to worry what we spent.

The other trip was to Majorca with my family, last September. Mum paid for the trip and so I didn’t get to choose where we stayed, but I went for a long walk each day to explore the area and take photos, and I spent two days in Palma. We ate at the hotel every night, which wouldn’t have been my choice but did allow me to spend more in Sephora!

If I needed a break-a trip that I wanted to do some work on, get some rest and relaxation in and do lots of photography, I’d definitely go for an all inclusive hotel somewhere near a big city or two. Then I can have the best of both worlds-a couple of days working outside in the sun, with pool breaks when my laptop runs out of charge, and a few days exploring the different cities.

Would you go on an all inclusive holiday?

I’m heading out on an all-inclusive holiday next May and I hate all inclusive holidays abroad because I can rarely eat the food *bleurgh* but it does mean that I have a little extra money to go and do water sports or explore so I do tend to travel all inclusive.
