A Marrakech photo diary: my top Marrakech photos

January 15, 2025 Comment : 1

The first Marrakech photos of our trip were at our beautiful riad. Our room is the door on the left.

Food in Morocco is full of vegetables and colour, making for great Marrakech photos. I really enjoyed it.

Gorgeous rooftop views-most of the cafes had a pretty rooftop, ideal for taking Marrakech photos.

Le Jardin Secret, below, was an oasis of calm amongst the chaos of the medina.

Madrasa Ben Youssef, the old Islamic school, is the most beautiful building for taking Marrackech photos. Full of mosaic floors, lots of archways and pale white walls, it was stunning.

The medina was full of character, colour and new smells. Sensory heaven, amazing for Marrakech photos.

We spent an evening in the Agafay desert, with a camel ride, quad bikes, a beautiful meal and the sunset. The camels were wonderful to photograph.

Le Jardin Majorelle, below, was top of my list of things to see when in Marrakech. The cacti, the beautiful landscaping and the iconic blue building… breathtaking.

Cafes were full of character in the city, as you can see from my photos below.

Marrakech was full of cats, and we loved it. This photo of the donkey in the doorway, behind ornate doors, with a cat next to it, sums up the city for me.

The last of my Marrakech photos is the sun setting on our last night in the city, taken from our apartment balcony. Beautiful.
